Our Mission
Through education, preparation, advocacy, and
networking with citizen groups and emergency services organizations, FireCAP, Inc. seeks to reduce wildfire risks in
the Urban/Wildland interface of Texas.
Our Vision
FireCAP, Inc. is a citizens' organization with
statewide impact on reducing wildfire hazards in the Urban/Wildland
interface.
About FireCAP
The Fire Citizens' Advisory Panel, Inc. (FireCAP) is a tax-exempt 501 (c) 3 organization created from the grassroots involvement of a central Texas neighborhood concerned about wildfire in their community.
Incorporated in Texas since 2001, it has been a Federally-recognized non-profit since 2003. FireCAP's main focus is to educate Texas urban-wildland residents about how they can prepare for potential wildfire. We also support fire and medical first responders in Texas through fundraising, grant writing, and other administrative activities whenever possible.
