interface.
FireCAP, Inc.
If you live in Central Texas, you know that the record rainfall of last spring and summer provided a beautiful display of wildflowers and greenery for our enjoyment.
In the winter of 2007-2008, however, that greenery has become fuel for potential wildfires in the urban-wildland interface (UWI). The weather folks are also projecting a warmer and drier spring this year.
These circumstances indicate that UWI residents could be facing a very active fire season over the next several months.
Help do your part to protect your home and property by:
1. Clean up brush and debris around your house.
2. Remove dead leaves, twigs, etc. from your roof.
3. Never burn trash or debris without an adequate water supply and constant surveillance until the fire is completely out.
